Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) refers to a progressivr impairment of* kidney function in which kidneys are no longer able to adequately eliminate metabolic waste and toxic substances from the bloodstream. This condition is generally identified by persistent protenuria and reduction in glomerular filtartion rate for a period of more than three monts. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the association between energy, protein, vitamin b6, folic acid, and iron intake and hemoglobin levels among chronic kidney disease patients receiving hemodialysis treatment at Harapan dan Doa Regional Hospital, Bengkulu City, in 2026 Methods: This research employed an observasional analytical design using a crossectional approach. A Total of 85 respondents aged 20-260 years were included as study participants through total sampling. Data were analyzed using pearson and spearmen corelation tests. Dieatary intake were collected using a semi quantitative food frequency questtionnaire (SQ-FFQ) and a food photograph book as research instruments . Results: The findings indicated that none of the nutritional intake variables examined had a statistically significant association with hemoglobin levels. The p-values obnaited were 0.839 for energy intake, 0.729 for protein intake, 0.406 for vitamin b6 intake, 0,887 for folic acid intake, and 0.933 for iron intake. Conclusion: Energy, protein, vitamin b6, folic acid, and iron intake were not significantly associated with hemoglobin levels among Chronic Kidney Disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at Harapan dan Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City, in 2026
