Abstract

Deaths from non-communicable diseases such as stroke, heart and blood vessel disease, cancer, diabetes mellitus, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease have exceeded deaths from infectious diseases. Community Service aims to increase the knowledge of cadres about prevention of non communicable diseases and cadres are able to carry out counseling about non-communicable diseases to the community. Success indicators are measured from input indicators and process indicators. Input indicators for all active cadres; indicators of the training process for Postal cadres for the implementation of Integrated, the implementation of monitoring activities for risk factors and counseling. The targets and outcomes increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres in preventing non-communicable diseases in the AnggutAtas Health Center area of Bengkulu City.The implementation of on April 12-13, 2019. The training participants were 14 cadres from 7 integrated coaching posts. The results of community service show that most of the cadres are 40 years old (92.9%), with the highest last education graduating from high school (71.4%) and most of the cadres are not working ( 64.3%). The results of the pre-test showed a mean of 40.71. After the training there was an increase in post test results with a mean of 51.78. The implementation of the activity was carried out in two stages, the first stage of training for cadres was carried out and the second day of field practice was carried out to coincide with the day of the implementation of the integrated coaching post. Most of the cadres were able to provide counseling to participants who visited the integrated implementation post. Cadres are expected to be more active and continue to learn about preventing non-communicable diseases in the community. Support from stakeholders is needed to give rewards to active cadres.
